A rendering of the Star in FriscoFRISCO – Keurig Dr Pepper will move its Texas headquarters to the Dallas Cowboys’ Star development.

The company will occupy a new 17-story, 350,000-sf office building that will open in 2021 just west of the Dallas North Tollway. The more-than-$200-million project was only recently approved by the city.

The city will sell the 2.5-acre site overlooking the Dallas Cowboys’ practice field to Star developer Blue Star Land for about $600,000—less than a fourth of the current property value.

Construction will start no later than August 2019. Blue Star Land will partner with Lincoln Property Co. to build the project, which was designed by HKS.

About 1,100 employees will relocate from the company’s current office in Plano’s Legacy business park.
